Our national debt has topped 16 trillion dollars as our government continues it's out of control spending. Our credit rating has been down graded and we face yet another credit down grading as we rapidly approach the interest curve on our debt. Rogue nations, who hate us, are reaching their nuclear capabilities and the Middle East has gone from unstable to on fire. Immigration issues are destroying or infrastructure from the inside out. Real unemployment is over 10% and more Americans than ever are on some form of welfare. Congress has it's lowest approval rating in our nation's history, at 9%. Ninety-one percent of Americans feel our elected leaders are not doing the job they were hired to do. That 91% of Americans are right, and that's precisely where we come in ... Welcome to the HouseFire Project. We are an anti-corruption, non-profit, political organization and there's nothing quite like us out there. The Housefire Project is completely bipartisan; we are made up of Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents. Although we are bipartisan, we don't give up our ideologies. We don't have to - we just check our labels at the door while we’re here. Our members all have some things in common besides our ideologies and these things are the subjects of our focus. We love our country and we see the writing on the wall. We all know that if we don't force some fundamental changes very soon, the freedoms and standards of living that we take for granted may be lost forever. To change Washington, we must first change ourselves. We must change our expectations because what we're getting from our leaders in Washington mirror those expectations. Therefore, through education, growth, and action, we will give Americans hope, raise their level of expectations, and provide the vehicle to make the necessary changes that will put this country back on the road to freedom and prosperity.
